Moira (she/her/hers) is an anthropologist, public health expert, and insights researcher with 15+ years of experience leading market research and human-centered design projects focused on patients, healthcare providers, and healthcare systems. Through Third Space Research, her team provides evidence-backed, academically rigorous research expertise and strategic advising to clients in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, wellness, and digital health & technology sectors.

She has applied her research expertise in diverse arenas in the public and private sector, including the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern Feinberg School Medicine, and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

She holds a joint PhD/MPH from the Northwestern University and a BA in Anthropology (Honors) from Brown University.

Fashina Aladé, PhD

Dr. Fashina Aladé (she/her/hers) is a researcher & strategist specializing in education, learning sciences, and digital technologies across science, technology, and healthcare applications.

Shina brings her unique academic training & professional background, including advertising & public relations experience, to learning sciences-informed maverick solutions for patient & provider education. She consults on projects bringing digital tools for patient education, product risk minimization, and family/system education to life. Her research lies at the intersection of media, psychology, and education, and consistently draws from best practices in community-based research.

Shina holds a PhD from Northwestern University in Media, Technology, & Society, where she conducted research with the Center on Media and Human Development. She also holds an MA from Ohio State University and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, both in Communications.

Her work has been published in numerous high-impact academic journals.

Alison Brinson, MSPH

Alison Brinson (she/her/hers) is a mixed-methods researcher & insights specialist with extensive experience in both qualitative and quantitative market research for healthcare delivery, health systems, & pharmaceutical products.

Alison brings a user experience lens to engagements, specilizing in human-centered design, development, and realization of digital health technologies. A quantiative social scientist and public health research by training, Alison also leads quantitative market research & growth projects for our clients.

Her expertise in reproductive health, healthcare access & equity, and community-based research ranges across diverse and hard-t0-reach populations.

Alison’s work on digital health technologies has been published in numerous high-impact academic journals.
